Kristīne Dańko always played sports in school, but the gym was not something anyone in her age would do at the time, so Krissy started her fitness journey while still in college when she realized she’d let socializing get so out of hand that it was affecting her day, and then she decided to change something, since no one else would do it for herself.
“It definitely never crossed my mind back then that I would even consider a job in this industry, learning and evolving what many coaches are unwilling to do, which in itself separates the good guys and the ones who might be in it for the wrong reasons.”
Krissy thought a lot about it, as she first needed to program herself to train her or train other people, because there is a huge difference between these two. She said: “We know our own body, so we know what works and I think someone else’s physical and mental health is not something to be trifled with”. Kristine worked as a chef for 4 years before this migration and has always had a love for the nutritional side. She is currently taking an online nutrition course, and she believes this specialization will allow her to fully understand the needs and frustrations of her clients.
“Fitness is so much more than just fitness, it is personal growth, transformation, accountability, mental health, confidence, strength, therapy, peace and so much more.”
