Conor O’Rourke has played golf for as long as he can remember but before he decided to play full time he balanced golf with his other love, GAA.
When he was awarded the Paddy Harrington Golf Scholarship in NUI Maynooth, he decided to focus on his golf and from that decision back in 2010 he has been progressing and improving steadily. He played all his amateur days in Naas Golf Club and since then he has been attached to The K Club. Conor is proud to travel and represent such a prestigious brand as the Touring Professional.
As an amateur he represented Leinster & Ireland at senior level winning 3 Men’s Irish Home International titles.
He was named as a reserve on the Walker Cup panel that competed in LA Country Club in 2017 after a season that saw him lift the prestigious St Andrew’s Links Trophy in Scotland.
Conor O’Rourke has progressed and completed across most tours on the globe since turning professional and has a clear plan and approach to ensure he gets to his final goal of being a DP World Tour professional.
